Today will always be different from yesterday and tomorrow, and so, it should not change the essence and purpose of our creation.
Taking a deeper look into the church today and how it's been run, i think it's going farther away from the purpose for which God meant it to be.
Does the so called civilisation lead us ethically forward or backward? Of course i do not condemn both advance in human knowledge and achievement, but it must be faced that a great deal of ingenuity of genius has led man away from God rather than to him. It is not so, that the restlessness of the creature urge is particularly susceptible to self will, fostering aims and ideals which are so far from nurturing a divine discontent that leads on to humanly edifying accomplishments.
For instance the kind of songs we sing in churches today are not helping or in anyway ministering to the congregation. Secular songs are being adopted and sang in churches as sacred songs and we all jubilate and smile thinking we'r worshipping the Most high.
The welfarism aspect is nothing, compared to how it's laid down in the Bible. Churches of today dont even care about how their members live. All we get to understand is ministry A is running to catch up with ministry B, chasing wealth and popularity forgetting the purpose of the church.
We see ministries with higher institution making their institution fees so high that a common man cannot afford. When their members comprises of all human standard.
It is in this generation we see tribal segregation in churches, if you are not a member of a particular congregation, you cant get job at a particular firm. We see certain ethnic group attending a particular church, while some congregation see themselves as the supreme compared to others, and nobody is doing anything about it
We build glorious cathedrals to the glory of God, but they are mostly for our own pleasure, especially when we turn them into centres for tourists attraction...
If you can go down memory lane in the times of the missionary, these people gave their all, they left their comfort, schooling was free, they saw to the welfare of the people in their care.
Today it's totally different, sheperds of churches amass wealth for their own pocket, while the sheep are lacking and not well nurtured.
Study the life of paul and peter and see how they livee their lives as servant leaders.
Even our role model, Jesus Christ who has access to everything yet own nothing, the church which ought to play a major role in the lives of the people of the world is now a rally competition between her colleagues.
I give thanks to God because He is there for these people who have nothing and nobody to look up to even when the churches where they worship don't have much to offer them.
For those that have lost hope... I pray God visit you again.
Am not judging only God can, am writing my mind and i will write more.
The church we have today is democracy by herself, for herself, and not for her people.

REPUTATION
Reputation is the corner stone of power. Through reputation alone you can intimidate and win.
The people around us, even our closest friends, will always to some extent remain mysterious and unfathomable. Their characters have secret recesses that they will never reveal. The unknowableness of other people could prove disturbing as we thought about it long enough, since it would make it impossible for us really to judge other people. So we prefer to ignore this fact, and judge people by their appearance, on what is most visible to our eyes - clothes, gestures, words, and actions.
In the social realm, appearance are the barometer of almost all of our judgements, and you must never be misled into believing otherwise. This is the reason for the supreme importance of making and maintaining a reputation that is of your own creation.
Reputation has a power like magic, with one stroke of its wand, it can double your strength. It can also send people scurrying away from you.
In the beginning, you must work to establish a reputation for one outstanding quality, whether generosity or honesty or cunning. This quality sets you apart and gets other people to talk about you. You can make your reputation known to as many people as possible by subtly, taking care to build slowly and with a firm foundation and watch it as it spreads like wildfire.
A solid reputation increases your presence and exaggerates strengths without having to spend much energy. It can also create an aura around you that will instill respect, even fear.
Reputation inevitably precedes you, and if it inspires respect, alot of work is done before your arrival.
Reputation is a treasure to be carefully collected and hoarded. Once its solid, do not let yourself fall to the trap of your enemies.
Since we must live in a society and must depend on the opinions of others, there is nothing to be gained by neglecting your reputation. By not caring how you are perceived, you let others decide this for you.
Be the master of your fate, and also your reputation.
Once it slips, however, you are vulnerable, and will be attacked from all sides.
Make your reputation unassailable, always be alert to potential attack and thwart them before they happen.
It is easier to core with a bad conscience than with a bad reputation.

SAYING LESS THAN NECESSARY
Saying less than necessary.
Powerful people impress and intimidate by saying less.
The more you say, the more likely you are to say something foolish.
When you are trying to impress people with words, the more you say the more common you appear and less in control.
The person that cannot control his words shows that he cannot control himself, and is unworthy of respect.
The human tongue is a beast that only few can master, it strains constantly to break out of its cage, and if it is not tamed, it will run wild and cause you grief.
Power and respect cannot accrue to those who squander their treasure of words.
To be different from others aviod opening your mouth too much and thereby put yourself at the mercy of the listener.
The mouth is just like a book, as you flip pages you seems to read more. The more the mouth is open, the more you talk unreasonably.
By saying less than necessary you create the appearance of meaning, respect and knowing what you are doing. Also the less you say, the less risk you are of saying something foolish.
Never start moving your own lips and teeth before the subordinates do. The longer you keep quiet, the sooner others move their lips and teeth. As they move their lips and teeth you can thereby understand their real intentions and take note.
Finally, when you say less, you think very well, but the more you put your mouth to dancing and entertaining, the lower your thinking.
If the sovereign is not mysterious, the minister will find opportunity to take and take.
Saying less than necessary is but for your own good.

10 Laws to deal with people
10 Laws to deal with people.
1. INTEREST
A woman who is interested in a man wants to see that other women are interested in him. What you are interested in must be interested in you to have it.
2. INSTINCT
Our first instinct is to always trust appearance, but dont trust that first instinct.
3. INTENTION
Basic to an ability to conceal ones intention is a simple truth about human nature. If you let people know what you are up to, they will prepare a defence for you.
4. TIME
NEVER waste valuable time, or mental peace of mind on the affairs of others -that is too high a price to pay.
5. PLAYER
To be a master player, you must be a master psychologist, you must recongnise motivation and see through the cloud of dust with which people surround their actions.
6. HIDDEN MOTIVES
An understanding of peoples hidden motives is the single greatest piece of knowledge you can have about someone.
7. OUTSHINE
Never imagine that because your master loves you, then you can do anything you want. But you can inadvently outshine a master simply by being yourself. There can be only one sun at a time, never obscure or rival it.
8. FIGHT
Never pick a fight with someone you cannot defeat.
9. COMMUNICATION
Man should gain his ends by communication and persuation rather than by force or treachery, the tactics appropriate to animals.
10. SMOKE SCREEN
Is to lull people, draw them to the web. The simplest form is facial expression. Behind a bland unreadable exterior, all sorts of mayhem can be planned without detection.

FAMILY SLAVERY
In our world today, many of us are slaves to our relatives simply because our eyes are not open enough to see the condition we find ourselves.
The century we'r have innovated slavery from what we think it used to be and hardly do you know you are a slave if you are one.
Lets take a ride, humans are product of mental conditioning and the productivity of a slave is for someone else, whereby slavery & colonization of an individual destroy self esteem, gives birth to victims, poverty mentality and breed an attitude of irresponsibility. The belief is that he/she cannot have anything to himself/herself.
All a slave get is what keeps him/her alive and healthy to produce for his/her master and as well devalue a person.
Slavery is an easier and cheaper way to live, it also give opportunity to get things for free, and not everything that is free is good.
So also a slave does not earn wages, since he/she is not qualified to own anything.
A leader among slave is still a slave, slavery mentality cause corruption. Slaves dont lead free people, free people lead slaves.
You ask someone today were have you been, its been a long time, what you hear in return is " i have been helping my aunt in her super mart for some time now " its not bad to help your aunt, but when she's making money and all you get in return is your daily meal, indirectly you are a slave.
There are several issues like that, what you need is freedom and freedom takes place in one's thinking.
Slavery is a kind of oppression in one's mindset while freedom takes the oppression away from one's mind.
The latter result is to put the blame on your aunt or uncle for not helping to attain success in life, but you dont know he who blame someone else for his/her situation, have transfer the responsibility of his/her success to that person.
Work and earn for yourself not to depend on anyone.
